A leading IT services provider in Poland is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to help develop real-time data processing capabilities. In this role, you will transition data and ML workflows from batch processing to streaming solutions and collaborate closely with Data Scientists. Ideal candidates should have practical experience with Kafka and strong Python skills, and be comfortable working in a hybrid environment in locations like Warsaw and Poznań.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with Kafka, including producers and consumers.
• Experience with running containerised workloads in Kubernetes.
• Strong Python skills and understanding of common ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Transform batch inference workflows into streaming pipelines.
• Design Kafka topic structures for prediction workloads.
• Integrate streaming outputs into downstream ETL/BI systems.
