Job summary

Vention, a global engineering partner to tech leaders, seeks a Data Engineer to build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments and to turn data into smart decisions. You will integrate diverse data sources, design cloud-native architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into efficient data solutions, dashboards, and insights.

Strong Python, SQL, Spark, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL.
• Solid knowledge of Spark/PySpark.
• Experience with AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda) or Azure Databricks (Delta Lake, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, DevOps).
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• B2+ English with experience communicating with English-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Integrate and manage diverse datasets to ensure accessibility and quality for analytics and ML.
• Design and maintain cloud-native, high-performance data architectures that scale with business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient data solutions.
• Analyze data and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to uncover trends and support decision-making.
• Stay up to date with cloud data technologies and industry best practices and bring innovation to the data ecosystem.
