Allegro’s Vento team seeks a skilled Data Engineer to design, scale and maintain data validation pipelines for high-volume clickstream data, ensuring data quality before ingestion into core Data Assets. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

You will work in a hybrid setup with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on autonomy, learning, and leveraging AI coding tools to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Big Data pipelines experience.
• Proficient in Python and Spark; Java backend familiarity a plus.
• Strong data quality, event validation and anomaly detection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain data validation pipelines for high-volume clickstream data in Vento.
• Implement robust anomaly detection to ensure data quality before core data assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to reconcile data requirements.
• Participate in engineering discussions, code reviews, and cross-team initiatives.
