Job summary

Square One Resources is seeking a skilled Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer to join our cloud data platform team. You will design and implement production data pipelines using Python and SQL on GCP/BigQuery, and collaborate on data warehousing, ELT/ETL processes and BI semantic models.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Airflow, APIs, Docker, and Git-based CI/CD. You’ll thrive in a structured, documentation-driven environment and contribute to robust analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer on cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery, building production pipelines in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Apache Airflow and external API integrations.
• Docker experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ELT/ETL, dimensional modelling and Power BI semantic models.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
• Structured and self-driven, with a strong focus on documentation.
