Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician to join our on-site team in Zabrze, Poland. You will support mission-critical infrastructure across data center facilities, performing hardware installations, cabling, server racking, and routine maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data centers or IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers, and good English communication. On-site role with on-call rotation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills with copper and fiber.
• Server hardware experience (Dell/HP/Supermicro) and good English.

Responsibilities

• Install, decommission, and migrate hardware.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Rack, stack, and label servers and equipment.
• Execute cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document work with photos and notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for full-time work in Zabrze, PL. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site
• Professional communication skills in English
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred
• Standard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment
