Job summary

Solid Company Kraków is seeking a data-focused engineer to build and maintain high-quality data solutions used across the bank. You will develop data repositories, support reporting and analytics at scale, and ensure compliance with data standards for quality and long-term usability.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of projects, data modeling, secure data movement, and complex reporting in Google Cloud and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in data-related roles including SQL, data engineering or analytics.
• Strong SQL and relational DB knowledge.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform products, especially BigQuery and Looker Studio.
• Experience with business reporting and front-end dashboards.
• Knowledge of Python.

Responsibilities

• E2E delivery of projects including KPI development and data modeling.
• Perform matching and linking across datasets.
• Ensure secure data movement from sources to targets.

Job description

You will work on building and maintaining high quality data solutions used across the bank. Your work will focus on developing data repositories and reusable data assets that support reporting and analytics at scale and help teams turn complex data into clear and reliable insights. All solutions are delivered in line with the bank's data standards, with strong attention to quality, consistency and long term usability.

What you will do

• E2E delivery of assigned projects, such as developing performance KPIs, development of data models based on multiple data sources in alignment to standards and business requirements, including but not limited to data discovery, data cleaning and transformation, metrics calculation, data aggregation and data validation
• Perform matching and linking across datasets
• Ensure secure movement of data from sources to targets
• Provide complex reporting solutions within Google Cloud environment and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• Utilise Python, TSQL and other technologies
• Work with stakeholders and business partners to understand requirements and process logic; play an active role in understanding core problem statements
• Identify internal process improvements opportunities
• Identify and manage risks and process blockers in area of responsibility

Skills:

• Proven experience of working in a data-related role (at least 3 years): SQL development, data analysis, data engineering, data architecture, data management and / or modelling with hands-on technical experience of using associated technologies
• Understanding of SQL programming and relational database systemis a must
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform Products, especially BigQuery and Looker Studio
• Experience in preparation of business reporting and front-end dashboards
• Knowledge of Python
