Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analyst to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for airline clients. You’ll build dashboards in Tableau, perform statistical analyses, and translate AI outputs into business-ready visuals.

You will collaborate with a growing analytics team, handle multiple data sources, and ensure timely delivery of reports and insights with strong storytelling for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building Tableau reports and dashboards, including Tableau Prep.
• 4+ years in data analytics with SQL, ETL and data integration.
• Experience optimizing queries, joins and indexes for performance.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and diverse data sources.
• Strong communication of insights to non-technical audiences.

• Translate AI pricing engine outputs into transparent, actionable insights for airline clients


• Perform rigorous statistical analysis and explain changes in data

• Support teammates and help ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences


• At least 2 years of experience in Tableau, including building reports, creating dashboards, and working with Tableau Prep


• At least 4 years of experience in data analytics


• Proficiency in SQL


• Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources


• Ability to work with large-scale datasets and optimize query logic, indexes, and joins for performance


• Strong analytical skills and ability to break down ambiguous problems into actionable solutions


• B.Sc. or Master's degree in Economy, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field


• Experience with Tableau Server administration, including user management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting


• Tableau expertise is mandatory


• BigQuery and Dataform experience is a plus


• Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib, or plotly are a plus


• Domain knowledge in airlines, transportation, logistics, or vacations is a plus
