Job summary

Jobtailor in Wrocław seeks a data analytics professional to transform complex airline pricing data into actionable insights using Tableau. You’ll translate AI pricing outputs into clear, trustworthy information and build reports that inform strategic decisions.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL experience, and a background in economics/statistics. You’ll work with large datasets, prepare dashboards, and support the analytics team to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with Tableau building reports and dashboards.
Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.

B.Sc. or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.

Turn data into actionable insights at the intersection of business and technology
Translate outputs from the AI pricing engine into clear, trustworthy, and actionable information for airline clients
Perform rigorous statistical analysis and explain changes in data
Answer client questions with supporting charts and analysis
Build reports and create dashboards in Tableau
Support the data analytics team and help ensure deadlines are met
Integrate data from multiple sources using ETL processes
Optimize query logic, indexes, and joins for large-scale dataset performance
Administer Tableau Server, including user management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting

Requirements

Excellent communication and storytelling skills to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences
At least 2 years of experience in Tableau, including building reports, creating dashboards, and working with Tableau Prep
At least 4 years of experience in data analytics
Proficiency in SQL
Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources
Confidence working with large-scale datasets
Understanding of query logic, indexes, and joins optimization for performance
Strong analytical skills for breaking down ambiguous problems into actionable solutions
B.Sc. or Master’s degree in Economy, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience with Tableau Server administration, including user management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt
BigQuery and Dataform experience is a plus
Experience with Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib, or plotly is a nice to have
Domain knowledge in airlines, transportation, logistics, or vacations is a nice to have
