Job summary

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Analytics team and support performance analysis across partner projects in the iGaming space. You will work with Tableau dashboards, run queries in SQL/ClickHouse, and turn insights into business actions.

The role emphasizes analysing product, retention, marketing, and operational metrics, presenting findings to the Head of Analytics and stakeholders, and turning analyses into reusable reporting for efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in the iGaming / gambling industry and knowledge of its core metrics.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to relate metrics to business drivers.
• Solid understanding of product and business analytics concepts (funnels, cohorts, retention, conversion, revenue).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Tableau.
• Ability to independently investigate problems, identify data, test hypotheses, and draw conclusions.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to read, adapt, and write queries.
• Ability to manage multiple ad-hoc requests and switch topics efficiently.
• Ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse key business and product metrics across partner projects (conversion, retention, revenue, margin).
• Investigate changes and anomalies and identify root causes.
• Determine whether changes are due to acquisition, retention, cohorts, margin, or player behavior.
• Handle ad-hoc analytical requests from stakeholders.
• Work with Tableau data sources and reports to extract relevant information.
• Build simple Tableau reports and dashboards for recurring requests.
• Turn one-off analyses into reusable reporting to reduce manual work.
• Use SQL/ClickHouse for data extraction or validation.
• Present findings and hypotheses to Head of Analytics and stakeholders.
