Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Poland is hiring a Cybersecurity Consultant to join a multinational team delivering high-standard security services to diverse clients. You will perform hands-on testing, analysis and reporting, and help strengthen clients' security posture.

You will work in a hybrid model with 2 days in the Katowice office and 3 days remote, collaborating with security experts across sectors. Strong English is required; German or other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Dev / ITSec experience conducting penetration tests.
• Technical knowledge of security issues and remediation strategies.
• Knowledge of app security verification standards.
• Strong understanding of networks, OS, web app architecture and OWASP Top10.
• Proficient with Burp Suite or Kali Linux; English fluency; team capable.

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

You will work in multinational environment together with other top security experts and you will be responsible for delivering highest standards of security to multiple customers in various sectors. Your key responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you’ll contribute technically to Cybersecurity client projects and internal projects. The role involves hands‑on testing, analysis, and reporting.

• Understanding of common attack paths and security weaknesses across web, infrastructure and cloud with the ability to translate findings into business‑relevant risks and actionable remediation step
• Structured and disciplined work style, including thorough documentation, evidence handling, clear communication, and a strong focus on quality
• Strong investigative mindset with attention to detail

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years of experience in Dev / ITSec conducting penetration tests projects,
• Knowledge of security issues at the technical level,
• Knowledge of solutions and recommendations to prevent or mitigate security vulnerabilities,
• Knowledge of the application security verification standards,
• Understanding of how information’s technology systems work: networking architecture, networking protocols, operating systems, how web applications work, starting from backend, ending with frontend, Deep understanding of OWASP Top10 concepts, Burp Suite and/or Kali Linux Proficiency, Ability to work both independently and as part of a security project team, Excellent command of English language. German or other European language would be an advantage but not mandatory

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Documented participation in Bug Bounty programs or acknowledgement of Responsible Disclosures outside those programs,
• Programming language skills (Python, C++, C# or Java).
