About the job

The Cyber Security Specialist will, together with other specialists, work in an agile way managing and developing security to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's information systems and networks. This includes designing, implementing and operating security measures such as threat detection technologies, identity and access management, network and endpoint security controls, and encryption technologies.

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you play a crucial role in advancing Cybersecurity. Joining a dynamic team, you'll focus on Alfa Laval's Zero trust journey and collaborate across the whole company. This position is permanent employment, available in Lund or Krakow, with the hiring manager based in Lund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing and managing processes and technical security capabilities within the Cyber Security domain.
  • Operate, manage and develop security platforms in our Zero trust journey.
  • Assist and drive general day-to-day operational security tasks and activities.
  • Continuously monitor emerging threats and innovations in cybersecurity to evolve our Zero Trust strategy, ensuring that security capabilities remain adaptive, resilient, and aligned with the changing threat landscape.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve security issues.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging threats.
What you know
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role and hands on experience working with Zero Trust in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of networks, operating systems, middleware/runtime and security protocols.
  • Experience in hybrid environments incorporating on-premise, private & public cloud and XaaS delivery models.
  • Proven experience operating and managing Guardicore, Zscaler platforms or similar technologies.
  • Broad technical knowledge across infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and cloud.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working with development teams.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
  • Fluency in English.
  • The location for this role is Krakow (Poland) or Lund (Sweden).
