Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is expanding its cybersecurity engineering unit to apply cutting-edge AI-powered security across a broad client base. You will shape the technical approach and service offerings from the ground up, confronting complex security challenges across cloud, network, and application layers.

You will design end-to-end architectures, perform risk assessments, and lead secure-by-design reviews while mentoring engineers and crafting client-facing materials.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in security architecture.
• Broad, hands-on knowledge across application, cloud, network and infrastructure security.
• Strong threat modeling and risk-assessment experience (STRIDE / DREAD / TARA or similar).
• Secure SDLC / DevSecOps, CI/CD security and IaC security.
• Cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Zero Trust architecture.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, EU CRA.
• Clear communication with both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Hands‑on understanding of and experience with different LLMs (frontier and open‑source)
• Ability to build AI agents and agentic workflows (tool use, MCP) for security tasks.
• Understanding of the principles for embedding LLMs into the SDLC and into security services
• Nice to have: penetration‑testing background; certifications (CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, OSCP)

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end security architectures across cloud, application, network and data layers
• Define security requirements, reference architectures and standards for new and existing systems
• Perform threat modeling (STRIDE / DREAD / TARA) and risk assessments, and recommend mitigations
• Lead secure‑by‑design reviews and embed security into the SDLC and DevSecOps pipelines
• Assess existing products and environments for vulnerabilities and architectural weaknesses
• Advise on Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, segmentation and secure cloud patterns.
• Guide and mentor engineers and penetration testers and set technical direction.
• Contribute to service offerings, accelerators and client‑facing technical materials.
• Evaluate and adopt AI‑assisted security tooling and methods.
