Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a seasoned Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with customers, shape technical direction, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade AI applications. You will build full-stack AI apps, collaborate directly with customer teams, and translate needs into actionable AI strategies.

Role requires 7+ years in production AI, deep software and data engineering, and experience with LLMs, RAG, and MLOps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building and deploying production-grade systems with AI focus.
• Hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills.
• Experience with foundation models, context engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and prototype AI apps and agentic systems on Cloudera platform.
• Partner with strategic customers to move prototypes to production readiness.
• Shape enterprise AI strategy and align with business goals.
• Codify reusable solution patterns and starter kits.
• Mentor teams and contribute to internal enablement and tooling.
