U.S. Bank’s Credit Risk Data Strategy team is seeking a Data Engineering Analyst with strong SQL and Python skills. You will build data pipelines on Databricks/Snowflake and migrate legacy SAS/SQL processes to modern cloud platforms.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will drive trusted, automated data solutions for regulatory, forecasting, and reporting needs. The role emphasizes data governance, automation, and scalable data products, with opportunities to influence data architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years in data engineering, data science, data analytics, or related tech roles.
• Proven SQL and Python expertise with modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Strategy and Technology teams on data modernization.
• Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using SQL and Python.
• Onboard source-system data and document data requirements.
• Create data transformations, validations, and automation.
• Migrate SAS/SQL processes to Python and cloud platforms.
• Build reusable code, pipelines, and automation assets.
• Analyze and profile large datasets to find improvements.
