Job summary

Freedom24 is seeking a Country Director to lead our Warsaw office, overseeing strategy, regulatory compliance, and public-facing functions as we expand in Poland. Based in Warsaw, you will manage operations, budgets, and local partnerships, drive KPIs, and represent the brand with regulators, media, and stakeholders.

The role requires a governance-oriented leader with proven investment/brokerage experience, fluent English, and a credible regulatory track record in the EU.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in administrative/operational management (COO-type) within an investment/brokerage.
• Prior regulatory approval experience in Poland or another EU jurisdiction.
• Strong public presence and media/public speaking skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the local business plan in line with the group's growth strategy.
• Report on KPIs set by European headquarters and monitor milestones.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Polish and EU laws, AML/KYC.
• Establish and manage local banking and payment infrastructure.
• Lead PR, media relations, and brand localization in Polish.
• Build and manage a local team aligned with corporate values.

Freedom24 is a fast-growing international brokerage platform, part of Freedom Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: FRHC), a publicly traded multinational financial services group with a presence in more than 20 countries across Europe, Central Asia, and beyond.

As the company continues to expand its regulated brokerage business across the European market, we are seeking an Country Director to lead our Warsaw, Poland office. Based in our Warsaw office, this role will oversee operational, regulatory, and public-facing functions while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and supporting the company's continued growth in the Polish market.

This is a classic operational and administrative leadership role. The ideal candidate combines strong operational management skills with a credible regulatory track record in the Polish or broader EU financial market and is comfortable acting as a public face of the company.

Strategy & Operations

• Develop and execute the local business plan in line with the group's growth strategy
• Report on KPIs set by European headquarters, including operational milestones
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term market positioning
• Manage the local operational budget and ensure cost efficiency
• Monitor and report on revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators
• Supervise implementation of operational workflows, client service processes, and local support systems
• Coordinate with headquarters to deploy IT and operational systems
• Ensure local operational readiness and scalability of systems
• Establish and optimize local banking and payment infrastructure

Regulatory & Compliance

• Oversee the process of obtaining tied agent status with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF)
• Represent the company in official communications with KNF and other financial institutions
• Ensure full compliance with Polish and EU regulatory requirements, including AML/KYC, data protection, and client onboarding standards
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to implement local regulatory frameworks
• Ensure compliance with the group's policies, standards, and governance framework

Public Relations & Communications

• Manage relationships with PR agencies, influencers, and media partners
• Represent the company in interviews, press events, and conferences to strengthen brand recognition and trust
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with corporate communication standards
• Supervise thought-leadership and media engagement initiatives to position the company as a leading investment platform locally
• Oversee localization of marketing and educational content in Polish

• Build and manage a competent local team aligned with corporate values
• Promote professionalism, integrity, and a culture of regulatory and operational excellence
• Ensure effective internal communication and collaboration across departments and with European headquarters

• Proven experience in administrative/operational management (COO-type profile) within an investment/brokerage company — sales leadership experience is not required and a more academic, governance-oriented background is preferred
• Prior regulatory approval experience in Poland or another EU jurisdiction — e.g., previously approved as a branch manager, tied agent director, or director of a company holding an investment firm license, a banking license, or a payment institution license
• Strong public presence: comfortable with media, conferences, and public speaking
