The Position

Country Analytics and Portfolio Optimization Lead

We offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events.

The position is a fixed-term contract until October 31, 2027.

The Opportunity

At Roche Pharma Product Development Global Clinical Operations (PDG), we are determined to transform drug development and realize our Pharma Ambition to deliver 20 transformative medicines addressing diseases with the highest societal burden by 2029.

As a Country Analytics and Portfolio Optimization Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring that operational analytics are effectively utilized and implemented to support business objectives and decision making. • Collaborate and Partner: You will build effective partnerships and collaborations within and outside of the home function. You will lead or co-lead cross-functional teams that deliver analytical solutions designed to address a specific business problem
  • Champion Patient-Centricity: You will drive patient-centricity throughout clinical operations by always putting the needs of the patient and the investigator first

You show a willingness to adapt to new tools, techniques, and methodologies, and are highly proficient in leveraging modern technology—including AI agents—to drive data analysis and operational efficiency
  • Analytical Thinking: You are able to independently generate insights from imperfect datasets that meet business needs. You understand the nuances of operational data and what level of precision is required to deliver meaningful value
  • Global & Inclusive Mindset: You have experience working across multiple cultures and countries with a strong appreciation for diversity and inclusion. You have persuasive written and verbal communication skills, easily communicating complex ideas
  • Independent Leadership: You operate with minimal oversight and know when and who to ask for help. You take initiative when opportunities arise and make decisions with minimal guidance
