Job summary

Wolf Theiss in Warsaw is seeking a Corporate / M&A Associate to join its Warsaw office. You will work on domestic and cross-border transactions, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.

The role requires bar trainee status or progress toward qualification, 1–3 years of corporate/M&A experience, and strong English and Polish skills. The firm offers a modern office and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English; Polish fluency required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Corporate / M&A Associate to join our Warsaw office. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on M&A transactions
• Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation (SPA, SHA, NDA, term sheets, etc.)
• Conducting legal due diligence and preparing reports
• Supporting clients in corporate projects
• Providing ongoing advice on corporate law and governance matters
• Cooperating closely with other practice groups and international offices

Requirements

• Bar Trainee: in the process of gaining qualifications (first year of advocate or legal adviser traineeship is preferred)
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate / M&A (law firm experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Polish corporate law; international exposure is an asset
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken); Polish fluency required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
