Equinix, Inc. is seeking an intelligent, energetic Legal Counsel, Corporate to join our EMEA Market Growth and Enablement legal team.

This broad role supports strategic growth initiatives across EMEA, including M&A, joint ventures and market entries, collaborating with Corporate Development and One Legal to deliver practical, commercially driven legal advice. The role emphasizes curiosity, ownership, cross‑jurisdiction collaboration, and the use of AI and technology to standardize and improve

Qualifications

• A law degree from a recognised university and qualified as a lawyer in an EMEA jurisdiction.
• Significant hands‑on experience in M&A and corporate transactions; experience with external debt financing is a plus.
• Strong judgment with a commercial, solution‑oriented mindset and risk awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse teams and jurisdictions.
• Curiosity, adaptability and resilience in a fast-moving international environment.
• Experience using generative AI and technology to improve legal services.

Responsibilities

• Support M&A transactions across EMEA throughout the lifecycle, including due diligence, structuring and post‑closing matters.
• Structure, negotiate and manage joint ventures, alliances and partnerships and market entries.
• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to enable informed decisions.
• Lead transaction workstreams and manage external counsel for efficiency and practicality.
• Assist in integration of newly acquired or built businesses, addressing regulatory matters.
• Advise on antitrust, foreign investment and other regulatory issues related to transactions.
