Job summary

Frontiers is seeking a Copyediting Specialist to sharpen and standardize academic articles within STM/HSS journals. The role emphasizes fast, accurate copyediting to meet high quality standards and maintain the author’s voice.

You will collaborate with Production and IT teams, supporting platform issues and contributing to special projects, with a focus on timely publication and excellence.

Qualifications

• Copyediting STM/HSS academic journals with high accuracy and speed.
• Excellent written and spoken English with a sharp editorial eye.
• Strong digital skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and web-based platforms; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Copyedit STM/HSS journal articles for clarity, accuracy and structure; address spelling, punctuation, grammar and style.
• Maintain a professional, academic tone while preserving the author’s voice.
• Ensure readability and adherence to Frontiers Copyediting House Style Guide.
