As a Conversational AI Strategic Cloud Engineer (SCE), you will work directly with our most strategic enterprise customers on critical conversational AI initiatives to transform their modern contact centers and deploy agents using

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience building ML solutions and working with technical customers.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and delivering customer projects to completion.
• Experience in chat/voice bot development, ML, NLP, or linguistics.
• Experience in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js/TypeScript with serverless, webhooks, and REST/gRPC integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex ML challenges.
• Coach customers on practical ML system challenges, feature extraction, data validation, monitoring, and feature/model management.
• Work with Customers, Partners, and Google Product teams to deliver tailored solutions into production.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
• Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience building machine learning solutions and working with technical customers.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience in one or more discipline areas: chat/voice bot development, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), or linguistics.
• Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js/TypeScript, with experience building serverless functions, webhooks, and REST/gRPC API integrations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer (PMLE) certification or Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, pyTorch, XGBoost).
• A solid understanding of the auxiliary practical concerns in production machine learning systems.

As a Conversational AI Strategic Cloud Engineer (SCE), you will work directly with our most strategic enterprise customers on critical conversational AI initiatives to transform their modern contact centers. You will blend deep technical expertise with client-facing communication, architect, build, and deploy conversational interfaces and virtual agents using Google’s core conversational AI platforms, including the Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX) suite.

You will serve as the technical engagement lead throughout the project life-cycle, owning requirements gathering, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation. You will act as a trusted advisor to client executives and technical stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity to deliver customer success in production. Furthermore, you will maintain a tight feedback loop with Google’s internal Cloud AI Engineering and Product teams, using your field experience to advocate for new features, overcome adoption blockers, and package lessons learned into published industry assets.
