Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, Warsaw, is seeking a detail‑oriented Controller Intern for a 12‑month assignment. You will gain exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls and compliance within a global real estate services environment.

You will work alongside experienced professionals on real projects, support month‑end close, audits and process improvements, and build core finance skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (graduating within 12-24 months).
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).
• Analytical, detail-oriented with good communication; proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Monthly accounting: close books, journal entries, variances explained to management.
• Financial reporting and audits: support documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analysis and projects: dig into financial data, identify trends, contribute to automation.
• Team collaboration: work with accounts payable/receivable, treasury and other finance teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller Intern to join our finance team for a 12-month assignment. This role provides comprehensive exposure to controllership functions including accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance within a global real estate services environment.

About This Role

Join our finance team for a 12-month internship where you’ll get hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and controls at a global real estate company. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, tackle real projects, and build skills that launch your finance career.

What You’ll Do

• Monthly accounting - help close the books each month by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and explaining variances to management
• Financial reporting & audits - support internal and external audits by gathering documentation, and help ensure our reporting is accurate and compliant
• Analysis & projects - dig into financial data to spot trends, answer management questions, and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements
• Team collaboration - work with accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and other finance teams to keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Currently working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (graduating within 12-24 months)
• Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication abilities
• A proactive problem-solver who works well independently and on teams
• Previous accounting or finance internship experience is a plus but not required
• Fluent English skills, allowing you to easily navigate through an international corporate environment
