Job summary

Electrolux Group in Poland is seeking a Control Algorithms Engineer to join our R&D Product Line Dish organization. You will enhance product functionality through advanced control algorithms and AI-driven solutions, while developing system models for simulations and automated testing.

Based at the Zarow Factory Plant, the role involves translating requirements, designing modular algorithms with Model-Based Design, generating production-ready code, validating through simulations and in-appliance

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / Automation Engineering.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • Strong MATLAB/Simulink knowledge.
  • Experience with data analysis and basic ML techniques.
  • Understanding of dynamic systems and modelling.

Responsibilities

  • Translate project or product requirements into control algorithm specifications.
  • Design modular control algorithms using the Model-Based Design (MBD) framework.
  • Automatically generate production-ready source code (ACG) for firmware integration.
  • Validate algorithms through simulations and physical tests.
  • Evaluate algorithm performance against targets and ensure robustness and reliability.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation (e.g., Algorithm Specifications, Calibration and Test Manuals).
  • Develop and maintain system models (digital twins) for SiL/HiL applications using the MBD framework.
  • Calibrate model parameters, assess simulation performance and generate model documentation.
  • Develop MATLAB and/or Python tools for data analysis from real and virtual testing environments.
  • Act as a technical reference for assigned activities and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Involve Lean Thinking projects and EMS/EAI initiatives.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a Control Algorithms Engineer to join our R&D Product Line Dish organization. In this role, you will enhance product functionality through advanced control algorithms and AI-driven solutions, while developing and refining system models that serve as the foundation for simulations, virtual labs, and automated software testing.

In detail, you will:
  • Translate project or product requirements into control algorithm specifications.
  • Design and develop modular control algorithms using the Model-Based Design (MBD) framework.
  • Automatically generate production-ready source code (ACG) for firmware integration.
  • Validate algorithms through both simulations and physical (in-appliance) tests.
  • Evaluate algorithm performance against targets and ensure robustness and reliability.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation (e.g., Algorithm Specifications, Calibration and Test Manuals).
  • Develop and maintain system models (digital twins) for Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) applications using the MBD framework.
  • Calibrate model parameters, assess simulation performance and generate comprehensive model documentation.
  • Develop MATLAB and/or Python tools for data analysis from real and virtual testing environments.
  • Act as a technical reference for assigned activities, supporting development, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve project objectives.
  • As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will also be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Who you are:
  • Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / Automation Engineering,
  • Physics, Mathematics, or similar technical fields
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink
  • Good programming skills
  • Good knowledge of signal processing and statistics
  • Good understanding of dynamic systems and modelling
  • Experience in data analysis and basic understanding of Machine Learning techniques
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
Where you’ll be:

You will be based at the Zarow Factory Plant, located in Poland. It will be necessary to be available for international travel two to four times a year. Benefits include:
