Job summary

Alcor is seeking a technically-minded QA Engineer to join the Ledger Enterprise team on a contract basis. You will contribute to manual and automated testing across our B2B platform, working within product squads to ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will review specifications early, perform manual and automated tests with Playwright, and collaborate with engineers to define quality criteria. AI-assisted tools will be part of your daily workflow, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience including manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or JavaScript for test automation; Playwright.
• Familiarity with Unix/shell scripting and basic Kubernetes knowledge.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-squad environment.
• Ability to surface risks and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review product specs early to identify gaps and testability concerns (shift-left).
• Perform manual and exploratory feature testing based on specifications.
• Write and maintain UI end-to-end automated tests with Playwright.
• Optionally extend coverage to Public API testing (REST).
• Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to define quality criteria.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools as part of daily workflow.
