Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in communications, including developing communication strategies, content, and stakeholder engagement programs.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.
  • Experience providing communications guidance to senior stakeholders and building trusted business relationships.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including advanced presentation development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience leading teams, projects, or complex initiatives, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communications strategies that increase awareness of Global Procurement’s priorities, value, and initiatives.
  • Create and deliver engaging content for internal and external audiences across a range of communication channels and formats.
  • Advise senior leaders on communication approaches, messaging, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Prepare and coordinate content for town halls, speaking engagements, newsletters, and other key communications.
  • Manage communication activities that support projects, initiatives, and organizational change efforts.
  • Oversee communication platforms and channels, including digital and intranet-based communications, to improve engagement and accessibility.
  • Lead and develop a small team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance support.
  • Coordinate planning and logistics for meetings, town halls, and other live or virtual events in partnership with key stakeholders.

About the Role

The Content Lead is part of the Global Procurement Strategy & Performance team and plays a key role in shaping how Global Procurement communicates its strategy, priorities, and value across the organization. This position is responsible for developing and delivering clear, engaging communications that strengthen stakeholder understanding and engagement while supporting key business objectives. Working closely with senior leaders, the role provides strategic communications guidance, oversees content development for internal and external audiences, and helps drive a consistent communications approach across Global Procurement. The position also supports organizational effectiveness through leadership of a small administrative team and contributes to creating meaningful opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the function.
