Job summary

Inbank in Poland is seeking a talented Compliance Lawyer to join their international Compliance Team. You will ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations while supporting teams in understanding regulatory matters.

Toward our growth ambitions, we are looking for a talented Compliance Lawyer in Poland. You will join Inbank’s international Compliance Team, working with colleagues across five countries in a fast-growing financial services company. Your focus will be ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, covering areas such as consumer finance, data protection, and AML. As a trusted advisor you’ll support teams in understanding regulations, engaging with supervisory authorities, and finding practical ways to balance innovation with effective risk management.

What will you be doing?

• Build and maintain strong relationships with supervisory authorities, acting as a trusted point of contact on regulatory matters.
• Keep internal policies and procedures accurate, up to date, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments, translating complex requirements into practical guidance and helping the organisation understand their potential impact.
• Monitor compliance across our operations, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement before they become issues.
• Partner with colleagues across the business and contribute to local and group-wide projects, providing expert regulatory advice and support.
• Help shape the future of compliance by improving processes, systems, and ways of working, turning ideas into meaningful enhancements.
• Work closely with stakeholders across different teams, fostering a culture of compliance that enables innovation and business growth.

To be successful in the role, you ideally have the following:

• A degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Excellent written and spoken Polish and English, with confidence in both day-to-day communication and drafting legal documentation.
• Solid knowledge of Polish and EU banking and financial services regulations.
• Previous experience in a compliance role within the financial sector.
• Hands‑on experience interacting with regulatory authorities, such as KNF, UOKiK, and UODO.
• The ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, pragmatic solutions that support business objectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions.
• A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
