Job summary

Luxoft Poland is delivering an Orchestrade-based Trading and Position platform implementation for commodity products. You will join a top initiative, work with a progressive team, and contribute across design, development, and testing phases.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commodities (Power, Certs, Gaz, Biomethane, LNG) and related products.
• Experience with the Orchestrade platform and related trading workflows.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into user stories.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Be part of design, implementation, and test teams for the Orchestrade project.
• Gather requirements through workshops and discussions with business teams/SMEs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements with team members and stakeholders.
• Document requirements in JIRA as user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Create user stories, test cases, and scenarios for requirements.
• Collaborate with Vendor teams on solution designs.
• Work in a global team with BA, developers, and project managers.
• Test and confirm the development meets requested features.
• Provide regular status updates and escalate issues as needed.

Project Description

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Orchestrade projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, commodities.

The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products.

You will be part of a Top Initiative for this commodity client.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several type of commodity products and learn a new trading platform.

You will have the ability to showcase the work directly to the End users.

The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:

• Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.
• Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business
• Leverage strategic standard risk systems
• Integration with Operations, Finance

The application is Orchestrade:

• Orchestrade is in .Net (C#): Natively connected to Excel
• Database: Microsoft SQL
• Delivered In-House or Hosted (Amazon Web Services)

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the design, implementation, and test team
• Gather requirements by conducting workshops/one or one discussions with the business teams/SME's.
• Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements by working closely with other team members & Business representatives.
• Document the requirement in JIRA as User stories and provide proper acceptance criteria.
• Create user stories, test cases and scenarios for the given requirements
• Interact with the Vendor team and be involved in solution designs with the Vendor
• Work and communicate in a cross-functional Global team comprised of BA, Developers, project managers and support representatives, etc.
• Testing & confirming if the development is as per the of the features requested.
• Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings, one-on-one meetings.

• Knowledge of Commodities (Power, Certs, Gaz, Biomethane, Liquified Natural Gaz)
• Knowledge and Experience with Commodities product
• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
• Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
• Experience in writing user stories and working with JIRA /similar tools.
• System Integration and User Acceptance testing
