Job summary

Luxoft is delivering a Trading and Position platform implementation for commodity products using Orchestrade, .Net (C#) and Microsoft SQL, with AWS hosting options. You will join our open-minded, professional team and contribute to design, integration and testing across the life cycle.

The role offers exposure to end-to-end workflows, including pre-deal origination, risk configuration and life-cycle management, with direct opportunities to present work to end users and to grow industry expertise.

Qualifications

• Essentials: knowledge of commodities including power, gas, and related markets.
• Experience with commodities product development and lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with technical and business teams.
• Organizational and time management skills in multi-task environments.
• Experience in a collaborative, multi-team setting and in writing user stories.

Responsibilities

• Be part of design, implementation and test teams for the platform.
• Gather requirements via workshops and discussions with business teams/SMEs.
• Analyze, evaluate and verify requirements with the team and stakeholders.
• Document requirements in JIRA as user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Create user stories and test cases for the requirements.
• Interact with Vendor teams and participate in solution designs.
• Work in a cross-functional global team of BA, developers, PMs and support.
• Test and confirm that development meets the features requested.
• Proactively report status and issues during daily stand-ups.

The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products.

The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:

• Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.
• Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business
• Leverage strategic standard risk systems
• Integration with Operations, Finance

The application is Orchestrade:

- Orchestrade is in .Net (C#): Natively connected to Excel

- Database: Microsoft SQL

- Delivered In-House or Hosted (Amazon Web Services)

Responsibilities:

• Be an integral part of the design, implementation, and test team
• Gather requirements by conducting workshops/one or one discussions with the business teams/SME's.
• Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements by working closely with other team members & Business representatives.
• Document the requirement in JIRA as User stories and provide proper acceptance criteria.
• Create user stories, test cases and scenarios for the given requirements
• Interact with the Vendor team and be involved in solution designs with the Vendor
• Work and communicate in a cross-functional Global team comprised of BA, Developers, project managers and support representatives, etc.
• Testing & confirming if the development is as per the of the features requested.
• Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings, one-on-one meetings.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Commodities (Power, Certs, Gaz, Biomethane, Liquified Natural Gaz)
• Knowledge and Experience with Commodities product
• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
• Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment
• Experience in writing user stories and working with JIRA /similar tools.
