• Monitor schedule milestones, risks, quality, and HSE compliance.
• Support FAT/SAT, mechanical completion, punch lists and acceptance.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and interface issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Polish contractors, designers, authorities and utilities.
• Assist the Project Manager in overall project execution.

Commissioning Manager

Location: Gorzów Wielkopolski

Salary: 25.000-35.000zl gross

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of a major industrial manufacturing investment in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The role will focus on equipment installation, commissioning, start-up and technical coordination between the Owner, General Contractor, designers, equipment suppliers, installation contractors and international project stakeholders.

This is a senior, highly hands‑on project role with significant on‑site presence in Gorzów, especially during the installation and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, testing, start-up and handover activities.
• Manage interfaces between engineering, construction, equipment suppliers and installation contractors.
• Lead technical and project coordination meetings.
• Monitor project schedule, milestones, risks, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate machinery and technology suppliers throughout installation and commissioning.
• Support FAT, SAT, mechanical completion, punch lists and final acceptance.
• Identify technical risks, delays and interface issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate cooperation with Polish contractors, designers, authorities, utility providers and technical institutions such as UDT.
• Support the Project Manager in the overall execution of the investment.

Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in industrial projects, engineering, project management or commissioning.
• Strong experience in large industrial investments, production plants or complex industrial installations.
• Practical experience in equipment installation, commissioning and start-up.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, risk management, contractor coordination and handover.
• Strong professional experience working on industrial projects in Poland.
• Fluent Polish and professional working English.

Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following sectors would be particularly relevant:

• industrial manufacturing,
• automotive,
• heavy industry,
• energy / power,
• Oil & Gas / petrochemical,
• process industries,
• defense.

EPC / EPCM and Owner-side experience would be a strong advantage but are not mandatory.

Additional Advantages

• Greenfield industrial project experience.
• Experience with international technology suppliers.
• Knowledge of Polish permitting, HSE and technical acceptance processes.
• Experience working with UDT and other Polish technical institutions.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Polish construction qualifications.
