Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków (HEINEKEN Global Shared Services) seeks a motivated Collections Specialist to manage intercompany collections, reconcile accounts, and resolve outstanding balances in a multinational finance environment.

The role emphasizes customer relationship management, dispute resolution, and collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, and Pre-Legal teams to ensure timely cash collection and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Spanish at least C1 level.
• English B2 or better.

• good understanding of the end-to-end Order to Cash process.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Customer Ledger and achieving collection targets.
• Partnering with OpCos to support collections and disputes resolutions.
• Building strong customer relationships and handling inquiries with high service levels.
• Identifying and resolving held orders and credit limit issues per policy.
• Analyzing root causes to resolve disputes and prevent recurrence.
• Driving process improvements with analytical and digital skills.
• Collaborating with HGSS teams to ensure process compliance.
• Providing updates to the Team Leader on progress and opportunities.
• Developing finance skills and business knowledge further.
• Ensuring adherence to controls and company policies, suggesting improvements.

We are looking for a motivated Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing collections activities for intercompany customers, ensuring timely follow-up, account reconciliation, and resolution of outstanding balances. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international finance environment and work closely with various business partners across the organization.

Your Responsibilities Would Include

• managing the Customer Ledger, ensuring accuracy and achievement of collection targets
• acting as a Business Partner to OpCos (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Pre-Legal Collectors) by providing accurate data and supporting effective collections and disputes resolution
• building and maintaining strong customer relationships, handling calls and queries while ensuring a high level of service
• identifying and resolving held orders and credit limit issues in line with credit policy
• proactively managing disputes: analyzing root causes, resolving issues, and preventing recurrence
• driving process improvements using analytical and digital skills to enhance insights and efficiency
• collaborating with other HGSS teams to ensure compliance with processes and standards
• providing regular updates to the Team Leader on progress, challenges, and opportunities
• taking ownership of personal development in finance skills and business knowledge
• ensuring adherence to process controls, policies, and compliance, suggesting improvements where needed
• maintaining accurate and up-to-date process documentation.

You Are a Good Candidate If You Have
