Qualifications

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Technician to support our machining operations in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC programming, process optimization, fixture design support and operation for CNC machines.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in CNC machining, CAD/CAM programming, and manufacturing process development, with the ability to support both production and engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning operations.
• Program and simulate machining processes using CAM software, preferably EdgeCAM.
• Create and update 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Support production with tooling selection and development.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues in cooperation with production personnel.
• Support fixture and tooling design for efficient and repeatable manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Technical education within Machining Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Technical vocational qualification, or equivalent manufacturing-related education.
• Additional training or certification in CNC programming, CAD, or CAM is considered an advantage.

Experience

• Proven experience programming CNC milling and/or turning machines.
• Experience with CNC machine setup, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Experience with precision machining and dimensional quality requirements.

Technical Skills

Required

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and manufacturing methods.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in EdgeCAM or similar CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
• Knowledge of dimensional inspection methods and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Preferred

• Knowledge of tooling and fixture design.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting NPI (New Product Introduction) and process industrialization activities.
• Option for experience with 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining.
