Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Security Engineer to join the GTS Customer Security Team. You will install, support and maintain Cloudflare products, participate in security projects and incident resolution, and contribute to automation and Agile transformations.

This is a permanent position with a hybrid working model and a strong focus on security excellence. The role requires deep knowledge of Cloudflare WAF SAAS, OSI layers, and authentication technologies, along with Python/JavaScript development

Qualifications

• Experience with security engineering and Cloudflare SAAS.
• Excellent knowledge of the OSI model layers.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS/SSL/TLS and mTLS.
• Experience with authentication technologies (SAML/OAUTH).
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience as Linux/Unix System Engineer (RedHat).
• Terraform knowledge.

Responsibilities

Division

As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the company's business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our GTS Division - Network and Data Center department in charge of putting in place the required technical solution to protect effectively our applications.

You will join GTS Customer Security Team in the role of Security Engineer.

Role:

• Install, support and maintain Cloudflare products.
• Participate in Projects related to security and business on the Euroclear roadmap.
• Resolve incidents related to security products and solution in place.
• Participate in the automation process and continuous improvement process.
• Participate in the Watch Duty role. (24/7/365) to face the evolving threats (Global Cyber Security team).
• Participate to the transformation of the team to Agile.

Key Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of Cloudflare WAF SAAS.
• Good knowledge of the 7 layers of the OSI model.
• Good knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, TLS/mTLS.
• Knowledge Authentication technologies. (SAML/OAUTH/...).
• Development languages: Python, JavaScript are key
• Linux/Unix System Engineer (RedHat).
• Terraform knowledge.

Assets

• Knowledge of other WAF/WAAP on premise, SAAS and cloud are assets.
• Reverse Proxies : Apache HTTPD, NGINX are assets.
• PKI knowledges are an asset
• Azure clouds WAF skills is an asset.
• Agile, Scrum, DevOps/DevSecOps knowledges are assets
• CISSP, CISM and/or OSCP are assets
• Kubernetees / Openshift / Automation / Network / IDP technologies (SAML, OpenID ... . Ping identity, Okta, Nexus access gateway, ...) are an asset
