Job summary

Gcore is seeking a DevOps Engineer/SRE to design and operate scalable infrastructure for AI, cloud, and security platforms. You will implement changes, maintain systems, and troubleshoot both software and hardware aspects of our global IaaS. Strong scripting and virtualization experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer.
• Proficient with Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with OpenStack and at least one CM tool (Puppet/Ansible/Terraform).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Familiarity with virtualization (KVM/Libvirt/QEMU) and ability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Intermediate+ English sufficient for chat and calls.

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer/SRE (Cloud IaaS).

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Implement infrastructure changes
• Plan and execute infrastructure maintenance
• Diagnose, localize, and resolve issues related to both software and hardware in the infrastructure
• Configuration Management: Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
• Scripting: Bash, Python

Qualifications

We Expect You to Have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems
• Experience with OpenStack
• Experience with at least one configuration management system (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
• Solid understanding of computer networking, including routing and switching principles
• Enthusiasm for technology and a deep desire to understand systems at a low level
• Ability to write Bash and Python scripts
• Familiarity with virtualization systems such as KVM, Libvirt, and QEMU
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Intermediate or higher level of English (sufficient for communication in chat and on calls)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ceph
