Job summary

Guidewire Software, Inc. in Krakow is seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team. You’ll build components for Guidewire Cloud Platform using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS, delivering reliable deployment workflows.

The role will involve working with SRE, performing code reviews, CI/CD, and maintaining quality through tests, with in-office attendance required 10 days per month.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud deployments.
• Good English communication in a technical environment.
• Willingness to work in Krakow office 10 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Clarify requirements, break down user stories, and deliver features for Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Build and improve InsuranceSuite deployment workflows with blue-green deployments.
• Write clean Java and Spring Boot code with tests.
• Work with Kubernetes and AWS platform services to manage resources and deployment state.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and troubleshooting with logs and metrics.
• Collaborate with SRE and Cloud Platform teams to improve reliability and automation.
