Job summary

AUTODOC in Berlin is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, and operational health of our production platform.

You will work on a large-scale cloud-native setup across multiple Kubernetes clusters, gaining hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, observability tools and incident management while contributing to the reliability of our production environment.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux systems.
Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts and Google Cloud Platform.
Fundamental knowledge of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS).
Monitoring, log analysis, Git and SQL basics.
Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
Willingness to learn cloud technologies and troubleshoot problems.
Ownership mindset with attention to detail and calmness during incidents.

Responsibilities

Support daily operation of our Google Cloud Platform, GKE, managed databases and cloud networking.
Monitor production health using VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, VictoriaLogs, Prometheus and Alertmanager.
Investigate alerts, review dashboards and identify service degradation.
Participate in incident response with first-level troubleshooting and diagnostic collection.
Perform Kubernetes operations like events checks, logs collection and rollouts.
Contribute to automation with small scripts in Python or Bash.
Collaborate with SRE, Platform Engineering, Security and Software Engineering during incidents.
