Job summary

ITConnect is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data engineering in cloud architectures, bridging business needs with technical solutions.

You will join agile product teams to manage MDM data products, optimize data flows, and transition from SSIS/MS SQL Server BI to cloud-native platforms like Azure and Databricks.

Responsibilities include data modeling, ETL/ELT design, API provisioning, CI/CD automation, and ensuring data quality for analytics and downstream consumption.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering for cloud-native architectures.
• Strong ability to design data models for analytics.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Co-drive solution design with Stakeholders and Analysts.
• Handle data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and API provisioning.
• Optimize ETL/ELT flows and modernize legacy solutions.
• Create implementation-ready designs, diagrams, and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with data stewards, architects and teams on non-functional requirements.
• Communicate complex technical topics to business audiences.
• Demonstrate end-to-end analytics platform experience and data product lifecycle.
• Model data (logical/physical) and design ETL/ELT with SSIS components.
