Jacobs is hiring Data Engineers to join our Digital & Data Hub, delivering modern cloud-based data solutions for Jacobs and PA Consulting engagements. You will work with Azure data platforms, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, turning complex data into reliable and actionable insights for clients.

Responsibilities include designing scalable data platforms, developing robust ETL/ELT processes, and collaborating with solution architects and delivery leads in a consulting setting.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial data engineering experience.
Hands-on Databricks experience is mandatory.
Strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills.
Experience with Azure data services and data integration.
Proficiency in data modelling, ETL/ELT, data quality and governance.
Ability to communicate technical topics clearly in English.

Responsibilities

Design, build and optimise scalable data platforms and pipelines using Azure, Fabric and Databricks.
Develop robust batch and streaming data ingestion and transformations across Azure Data Lake.
Utilise Databricks, Delta Lake and Spark for large datasets.
Contribute to Fabric solutions and data pipelines; document and transfer knowledge.
