Job summary

Sii Poland is expanding its Data & Analytics Competency Center in Warsaw to drive data processing, analytics, and ML initiatives. You will contribute to data lake/warehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cross-team collaboration with BI and Data Science.

The role emphasizes scalable data platforms, cloud-based Azure services, and mentoring colleagues while delivering robust data solutions for business needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in processing and integrating large data volumes.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Spark and PySpark.
• Designing Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and work with data orchestration tools.
• Commercial experience with Azure data processing projects (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric).
• Knowledge of distributed data processing concepts and pipeline optimization.
• Fluent English; Polish language proficiency required; based in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake / Data Platform architecture.
• Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration in Azure Databricks.
• Model data and prepare structures for analytics and business needs.
• Implement batch and near real-time data processing solutions.
• Monitor, optimize, and develop existing pipelines and data processing processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and Data Science on data preparation and sharing.
• Gather business requirements and propose optimal technological solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Support and mentor less experienced team members.
