Overview

About the role: ClearScale is looking for a Data Analyst to participate in building and maintaining analytical solutions based on scalable data lakes (AWS) for the multi-tenant SaaS FinTech platform. You will build data marts and visualizations to empower mission-critical business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, interpret and analyze data from multiple heterogeneous data sources (AWS Lake Formation, SQL OLTP Databases)
  • Perform data mining using different querying techniques of SQL
  • Work with BI tools for visual data representation/reporting
  • Perform Data Quality Assurance of the dashboards/reports present in Analytics platforms (internal and client analytics)
  • Communicate with clients on data mining requirements/reporting
  • Closely work with Data Engineers/Architects
  • Document results of data analysis
Candidate requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Analyst role, with a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
  • 1+ years hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight (preferred) or Tableau or PowerBI or Cognos or similar BI software
  • 1+ years of hands-on SQL knowledge
  • Good attitude and excellent communication skills
Additionally, it would make us smile even more if you have:
  • 1+ years hands-on Python
  • Experience in data extraction/writing data queries for analysis across SQL (as a plus NoSQL) databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena)
  • Experience in BI Tools (Tableau, Spotfire, AWS QuickSight, Cognos), reports visualization
  • Solid knowledge of data interpretation and analysis using MS Excel
  • Experience in Data Quality Assurance approaches
  • Experience in validation, cleanup, and formatting of data
