Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Katowice on-site team. You will contribute to static and strength calculations for steel and concrete structures, develop documentation, and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients.

The role spans concept to execution design across various project scales. Requirements include a civil/structural engineering degree, 3–4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Robot Structural Analysis.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in a similar role
• Advanced knowledge of building regulations and Eurocodes
• Proficient in structural design software (Robot Structural Analysis)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform static and strength calculations for industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Prepare technical and design documentation
• Work across concepts, basic, and detailed/execution designs
• Coordinate with assistants, engineers from other disciplines, project management, clients and suppliers

We are looking currently for a Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team in Katowice (on-site).

• Static and strength calculations of industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations
• Solving technical issues related to project execution
• Preparing technical and design documentation
• Working on projects at various levels of detail: concepts, basic designs, and detailed/execution designs
• Cooperating with assistants, engineers from other disciplines, project management, clients, and suppliers
• Participating in project and coordination meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Higher education degree in civil engineering / structural engineering
• Advanced knowledge of applicable building regulations and Eurocode standards
• Ability to work independently on design tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Effective communication skills in English
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Robot Structural Analysis)
• Responsibility for assigned tasks, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring high quality of prepared documentation
• Proactively seeking technical solutions and applying modern industry practices to deliver the best solutions for clients
• Very strong communication skills
