Software Mind is developing a global, native Android experience for a security and travel risk services leader. You will join a mobile team building Kotlin-based apps with Jetpack Compose, focusing on fast, secure and accessible interfaces.

You’ll collaborate on requirements, implement location-aware features and push notifications, and contribute to CI/CD, testing and documentation in an international setting.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience implementing location services and push notifications.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management and secure credential storage.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit and UI tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
• English at C1 – working language with the client.

Project – the aim you’ll have

This project is for a global leader in medical and travel security risk services, helping organisations protect their people wherever they work and travel. You’ll join a dedicated mobile team rebuilding the client’s traveller-facing apps, part of the Subscriber Portal, as fully native iOS and Android applications to replace the existing React Native versions. Travellers and expatriates use these apps to receive location-based medical and security alerts, access country risk information, check in, and contact 24/7 assistance centres with a single tap. The backend is already in place, allowing the team to focus on building a fast, secure and accessible native experience. When someone faces a crisis abroad, the app needs to work reliably when it matters most.
