Job summary

Talanto is seeking an engineer to own bug triage, root cause analysis and release engineering for a ChromeOS hardware fleet used in a large enterprise video-conferencing program. You will manage the operational lifecycle of release candidates, triage and patch奉 in release branches, and enforce quality dashboards.

Responsibilities include first-line triage, root cause analysis, patch authoring/review, and end-to-end RC operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Chromium OS and Linux kernel debugging.
• Experience in release lifecycles and embedded OS tooling.
• Strong log analysis, crash dumps and multi-device debugging.

Responsibilities

• Own first-line triage of inbound bug reports: classification, priority tagging, component assignment, duplicates.
• Perform root cause analysis using logs, crash dumps and traces; reproduce complex issues.
• Author and review patches, verify fixes in release branches.
• Manage release candidate operations end-to-end: branch cuts and RC validation.
• Meet SLAs: triage within US EST overlap and ensure RC sign-off quality.
