Evotym is seeking an experienced CFO to own the finance transformation, strengthen controls, improve liquidity and build scalable processes across multiple entities and currencies from Poland. You will work with business leaders to develop a high-performing finance team and drive sustainable profitability.

The role requires hands-on leadership in payments or related financial services, with a focus on strategic financial planning and operational excellence to support growth.

Responsabilités

• Oversee treasury, cash flow, liquidity forecasting, settlements, reconciliations and financial reporting across entities and currencies.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting methodologies and management reporting to improve accuracy and visibility.
• Optimize liquidity, FX and cryptocurrency conversion costs, settlement pricing and supplier terms.
• Transform and automate end-to-end financial processes with technology, business, Risk and Compliance teams.
• Build and develop the finance team, clarify process ownership and reduce reliance on individual experts.
• Partner with the CEO and business leaders on financial strategy, operations, resource allocation and sustainable growth.

Role Overview

Take ownership of a finance transformation with a direct impact on profitability and sustainable growth. As CFO, you will strengthen financial controls, improve liquidity and build scalable processes across multiple entities and currencies. You will work closely with business leaders and develop a skilled finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury, cash flow, liquidity forecasting, settlements, reconciliations and financial reporting across entities and currencies.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting methodologies and management reporting to improve accuracy and visibility.
• Optimize liquidity, FX and cryptocurrency conversion costs, settlement pricing and supplier terms.
• Transform and automate end-to-end financial processes with technology, business, Risk and Compliance teams.
• Build and develop the finance team, clarify process ownership and reduce reliance on individual experts.
• Partner with the CEO and business leaders on financial strategy, operations, resource allocation and sustainable growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior finance leader, with responsibility for financial operations, treasury, accounting and team management.
• Hands-on experience in payments or related financial services, such as PSP, acquiring, EMI, cross-border payments, banking, brokerage or a crypto platform with fiat operations.
• Strong understanding of liquidity, settlements, reconciliations, financial controls and multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Experience managing finance in high-risk, cross-border environments. Familiarity with CIS markets is a strong advantage.
• Proven results in improving processes, introducing automation and strengthening internal controls.
• Experience building management teams, delegating responsibilities and establishing scalable processes.
• Languages: English, Russian.
