Job summary

Finom, a European fintech, is seeking a detail-oriented Chargeback Analyst to own end-to-end chargeback processing, liaise with clients and payment partners, and help scale operations across Europe.

You will shape payment operations, proactively communicate with customers, and work cross-functionally to improve payment services. Fluency in English and a startup mindset are essential.

The role offers stock options and a Work & Swim program, with remote or hybrid European arrangement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in chargeback or card operations.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end payment lifecycle and chargeback handling processes.
• Fluent in English with clear, professional communication.
• Startup mindset with proactive identification of inefficiencies and solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end processing of chargebacks and related transactions.
• Build and refine Payment Operations processes from the ground up.
• Proactively communicate with clients via email regarding payments.
• Liaise with payment infrastructure providers to resolve issues and expand requests.
• Impact payment services delivery across customer-facing products.
• Manage daily operational requests with a focus on continuous improvement.
