Job summary

EY GDS Poland is hiring a Change Management Specialist with German to join the People Consulting practice in Katowice. You will blend project management discipline with human-centered change expertise to deliver transformations for international clients across HR, operating model, processes, culture and leadership.

You’ll lead change strategies, stakeholder engagement, communications and training, and end-to-end project workstreams.

Qualifications

• What you’ll bring: 4–7 years of project management and organizational change management experience.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end change management transformation projects.
• Languages: Excellent English (C1) and German (C1).

Responsibilities

• Shape change strategies with impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder mapping and adoption KPIs.
• Run stakeholder engagement activities and workshops to capture employee input.
• Design communications and training plans, enablement journeys and coaching.
• Develop and deliver communication strategies that convey vision, benefits, and implications.
• Lead impact assessment workshops and readiness/adoption assessments.
• Manage project workstreams end-to-end (scope, plan, RAID, budget, quality).
• Prepare proposals and build relationships with client leaders.

About the role

We’re growing our People Consulting practice and looking for a Senior People Consultant who blends project management discipline with human‑centered change expertise. You’ll partner with international clients to deliver complex transformations - often technology-enabled - spanning HR, operating model and process change, workforce and skills, culture and leadership, and adoption at scale.

You’ll join a collaborative team that values trust, curiosity, and open knowledge‑sharing. Your work will have tangible impact on client outcomes - from strategy through execution and benefits realization.

What you’ll do

• Shape change strategies tailored to the client context (impact & readiness assessments, stakeholder mapping, change plans, adoption KPIs).


• Run stakeholder engagement and facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to bring employee voice into the design.


• Design fit‑for‑purpose communications and training (enablement plans, learning journeys, coaching, super‑user networks).


• Develop and deliver communication strategies that articulate the vision, benefits, and practical implications of change.


• Lead impact assessment workshops to analyze As-Is and To-Be states and define mitigation actions.


• Conduct readiness assessments and adoption assessments to evaluate readiness and track progress.


• Lead and deliver project workstreams end to end (scope, plan, RAID, budget, quality), ensuring on time and on budget outcomes.


• Prepare compelling proposals and thought leadership; build trusted relationships with client leaders.

You’ll bring

• 4–7 years of experience in project management and organizational change management, ideally within technology‑enabled transformations.


• Proven expertise in leading end-to-end change management transformation projects


• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills - comfortable engaging senior audiences.


• Languages: Excellent English (C1) and German (C1)


• Professional certifications are a plus: PROSCI Change Management Certification, CCMP Certified Change Management Professional), ADKAR Model Certification, PRINCE2 / PMP, Lean Six Sigma or Business Analysis welcome.


• Willingness to travel (up to 20%, depending on project needs).

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting and/or large‑scale, multi‑country programs.


• Sector background in financial services and/or public sector.


• Experience with BPMN
