Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED required.
• Level I or above Interpreter Certification preferred.
• 2 years of experience as an interpreter preferred.
• Proficient ASL sign communicator required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Communicates with classroom teachers for accurate information delivery.
• Adheres to Interpreter Code of Ethics.
• Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
