Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Dyslexia Teacher to deliver intensive, multisensory literacy instruction for EC-12 students under the Dyslexia program. You will embed evidence-based strategies and coordinate with general education teachers to support student progress.

Responsibilities include small-group acceleration, lesson planning, progress documentation, and ongoing parent communication to reinforce classroom skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Texas Teaching certification required; ESL or Bilingual certification preferred.
• CALP/CALT/LDP/LDT certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides intensive multisensory dyslexia instruction in small groups.
• Embeds structured literacy approaches and pacing schedules.
• Maintains pacing calendars and lesson plans for each group.
• Documents student progress and communicates with Dyslexia Office and teachers.
• Communicates with parents to reinforce reading strategies at home.
