Job summary

Hiab is seeking a Category Supply Chain Manager in Stargard, Poland, offering hybrid work (one day from home). The role leads a 6-person team to optimize material planning, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement across logistics operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 2+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing supply chains, and strong analytical and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, business or economics.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material planning and ensure supply continuity using ERP systems.
• Lead budgeting, stock levels and KPI performance to hit targets.
• Mentor and develop team members through regular reviews.
• Drive cost-saving and continuous improvement across planning settings.
• Escalate and resolve shortages with key suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships across core material categories.
• Coordinate new product introduction and lifecycle projects.

Your mission

Are you a proactive, results-driven leader with a passion for supply chain optimization and operational excellence? We are seeking a Category Supply Chain Manager to oversee material planning, manage key vendor relationships, and drive continuous improvement across our logistics operations. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of 6 people, together with which you tackle complex operational challenges, and play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless production workflows.

This position is open for candidates located in Stargard with the possibility for hybrid working model (one day per week working from home).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee material planning processes and ensure supply continuity using ERP systems
• Manage department budgets, stock levels, and KPI performance to hit operational targets
• Lead, develop, and mentor team members through regular performance and development reviews
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement across planning settings and processes
• Serve as the primary escalation point for key suppliers to resolve shortages and communication issues
• Manage supplier relationships and standards across core material categories
• Coordinate and support new product introduction and lifecycle management projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Economics
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems and data analysis tools
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with communicative English fluency
• Proven problem-solving capabilities, proactive initiative, and a team-oriented leadership mindset.
