Capacity Management Consultant

For Linklaters Global Solutions Warsaw, we are recruiting for a Capacity Management Consultant to join our Tech & Data function.

About the Team

As a Capacity Management Consultant you will play a central role in monitoring and managing the Firm's technology capacity utilisation against purchased entitlements. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will evaluate operational impacts, develop capacity plans, and produce actionable reports to optimise cost and service levels. This role ensures technology resources are effectively aligned with the Firm’s strategic objectives and operational needs. You will be reporting to the Asset & Capacity Management Team Lead.

As Capacity Management Consultant, you will:
  • Monitor and manage technology capacity utilisation across the Firm’s technology estate, evaluating impacts on operational performance as defined in ITIL services.

  • Evaluate and forecast technology capacity requirements to determine impact on operational performance.

  • Collaborate effectively with Product and Platform teams and senior leadership, gathering inputs for long‑range resource planning.

  • Develop short‑ and medium‑term operational capacity plans to optimise cost and service levels.

  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to adjust technology capacity as required.

  • Facilitate demand and backlog management processes, deploying resources as necessary.

  • Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, visualisations, and dashboards to communicate technology capacity insights to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address capacity needs, including assessment of potential constraints and scenarios for future growth or reduction.

  • Support day‑to‑day volume changes and respond to urgent operational requests.

  • Assist in preparing operational forecasts and scenario analyses to support decision making.

  • Monitor overall capacity utilisation and recommend adjustments to enhance efficiency and performance.

Apply if you:
  • Have 2‑4 years of experience in monitoring and managing technology capacity within a large, global, and technically complex environment.
  • Are skilled in analysing operational performance data and assessing the impact of technology capacity on service levels.
  • Demonstrates proven ability to create impactful reports, dashboards, and visualisations using analytics and reporting tools such as Excel & Power BI. Shows proficiency in producing both regular and ad‑hoc reports, visualisations, and dashboards to effectively present insights and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in English with stakeholders at all levels, including directly with business and various stakeholders.
  • Possess a solid background in developing and implementing short and medium‑term operational capacity plans.
  • Have experience facilitating demand and backlog management processes, including deploying technology resources where needed.
  • Are adept at identifying capacity constraints and working proactively with stakeholders to address resource challenges as they arise.
  • Are comfortable supporting day‑to‑day volume changes and handling urgent operational requests to maintain service standards.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills for preparing operational forecasts and conducting scenario analyses to inform strategic and tactical planning teams and systems.
