Job summary

Vistulo is hiring an experienced Calypso developer to build and extend a vendor platform powering fixed income, FX, and derivatives trading for a major North American bank. You’ll work directly in Calypso and implement new features, extend integrations, and ensure smooth operation.

The role is fully remote for residents of Poland and Romania. You will join the core development and business analyst team, collaborating with North American clients and a Polish support entity to enable long-term

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Calypso development experience, V17+ strongly preferred.
• Strong Java development skills and API integration.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• DevOps experience with GitHub/Azure DevOps/Ansible/JFrog Artifactory.
• Knowledge of fixed income, FX and derivatives.
• Experience in high-volume trading environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Calypso APIs, workflows, engines, and events using Java.
• Integrate Calypso with external systems via MQ, Kafka, and HTTP.
• Write and optimize SQL for Oracle-backed Calypso environments.
• Automate build/deploy/release with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Artifactory.
• Collaborate with business analysts to shape solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
• Support testing and validation before production.
• Explore AI tools to accelerate development or testing
