BE | Shaping the Future Poland looks for an accomplished Calypso Consultant to lead complex securities projects for top banking clients. You will translate business requirements into functional Calypso solutions, configure the system, and coordinate testing and deployment with attention to performance and data considerations.

Ideal candidates hold 10+ years in Calypso and securities, with strong delivery, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a demanding enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years Calypso knowledge with implementation tasks around deal capture, trade life cycle, and accounting
• 10+ years functional securities knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills across Calypso layers
• Experience with continuous delivery methods and related tools
• Experience with large-scale architecture and SQL-based Big Data

Responsibilities

• Lead Calypso Securities projects, business analysis and functional enhancements
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional Calypso solutions
• Configure Calypso and coordinate development changes
• Provide Middle & Back Office Securities expertise across deal capture, workflow, messaging, and reporting
• Define and manage test strategies, scope, and release readiness
• Coordinate functional, technical, performance, load and scalability testing
• Manage test cases and defect lifecycle using Zephyr and ALM QC
• Lead testing communications and stakeholder reporting including risks and sign-offs
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies and QA practices

Since the foundation of Be Poland in 2013, we have been continually expanding and customising our spectrum of services.

We are looking for Calypso Consultants to join our team and work on projects with leading banking clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Calypso Securities projects, business analysis, and functional enhancements.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional solutions and system improvements.
• Configure Calypso and coordinate development changes.
• Provide strong Middle & Back Office Securities expertise across: Deal capture & trade lifecycle; Workflows & transfer generation; Calypso messaging & accounting; Task Station & access permissions; Reporting
• Define and manage test strategies, scope, execution, regression, and release readiness.
• Coordinate functional, technical, performance, load, and scalability testing.
• Manage test cases, environments, dependencies, test data, and defect lifecycle using tools such as Zephyr and ALM QC.
• Lead testing communications and stakeholder reporting, including risks, issues, progress, and sign-offs.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and QA practices.

Requirements

• 10+ Years Calypso knowledge with experience in implementation tasks around: Deal capture & trade life cycle; Trade workflows & transfer generation; Calypso messaging; Accounting module; Task Station & Access Permissions; Reporting functionalities; Middle Office module; Back Office module; CATT
• 10+ Years Functional Securities Knowledge
• Strong capabilities in trouble shooting, identifying and fixing the performance bottlenecks across the various layers of the Calypso System: data storage, java application level, MQ messaging
• Very good knowledge about continuous delivery methods & related tools
• Experience in working with large scale architecture and Big Data (with SQL)
